Decision: The Agency Council adopted a decision to accredit the Academy of Regional Management at its 80st session on 19 June 2014 for the period of seven years.

Povzetek:

The experts find that the Academy of Regional Management has laid good foundations for its functioning, internal acts and a positive organisational atmosphere. Both management and the employed demonstrate a wish to co-create in the regional environment and to seize the opportunities for international cooperation. Academy is a responsive, lean institution. The group of experts, however, proposed that based on the capabilities of management and co-workers as well as the integration with the environment, the analysis of opportunities for a successful provision of study programmes should be studied again. A greater emphasis should be placed on informing about differential characteristics of a graduate with regard to graduates of other higher education institutions in the field of economy.

Apart from the library, which was not finished at the time of the site visit, other weaknesses can be remedied quickly. This depends of the willingness of internal and external stakeholders for improvements. The willingness, however, is an advantage of the institution, because the well represented employers demonstrated that they are willing to cooperate with and support the academy. The employed at the institution are dedicated to quality culture. Their approach to students will be individual and personal. Acaedmy should create strategies and action plans in close cooperation of relevant strategic stakeholders. It should formalize its relations with foreign institutions interested in cooperation in the field of education and research, in order to develop the area of functioning of academy and mobility.
